September 2

A grand day all round :~)

September ...

I have been out in the front garden tidying up and planting out pansies but had to come in as it is now dark at 20:10hrs. Before we know it it will be winter.
I haven't been overeating today.
I have saved an orange for after I have done some inside clearing up.
I have been to my Pilates class today.
In fact so far September has been great.

Yes I know it was boring but ...

my food diary was worth doing for the past week.
Conclusion and lessons learnt.
Alcohol, including the Bank Holiday weekend, two bottles of cider and two glasses of wine in total.
I learnt that I eat bread more often than I would have guessed.
I thought that normally I was very good on fruit and veg but looking over the whole week there were times when they weren't on the menu.
Having had a mindful food week I tackled the Bank Holiday eating very well. This all included Chinese takeaway Friday, family party Sat., Sunday lunch out, family BBQ Monday (son and DIL had lots of colourful food on the table) Eating out was a pleasure and I didn't pig out. Monday lots of nice puddings and instead of eat any or all of them I did washing up. But I did lick the cheesecake serving slice son came in the room and said he was just going to do that. He meant lick the spoon Not doing the washing up! We had a laugh.

Today I can report on the week a 2lb weight loss.

I am going to be boring

sorry to do this to all you guys but I am ging ti berather boring as for the next week I am going to list everything that I eat or drimk (sorry I meantdrink) that might well it just might reveal as to why I am putting on weiht. (sorry I meant weightt!!)
This evening I have had Pimms, cider and gin. that in itself might explain a lot and I have been eating BBq food and a dessert. well my saving grace is that I did check in here before going to bed. I will report in in the morning hopefully with a clear head. I will st6art in the morning as I mean togo on -ummph many fine words etc..,.. se nyou tomorrow, I love you all and I indeedie need you all.

Silly me .. ..

I bought a skirt that I like very much and people say that I look good in it.
So far every time I put the skirt on I just feel grumpy as I struggle into it. I cannot believe that the half elastic waist band should have been made sooo tight to come up and over my hips - all my weight must have gone onto my thigh and hip area. I must be such a different shape to what I see in the mirror. I should have bought a BIGGER skirt. Perhaps I shall just bin the skirt. No. Wait. What have I seen? There is a ZIP in the side seam! What a silly me - skirt slides on easy - zip up - I am off and out, looking good! Bye

This evenings I will be active

My plan is to clean out the garage after work.

Webinar tonight 2 Aug

I hope all goes well with the link this evening.

Tool 8 Exercise report 17

Tool 8
Regular exercise and being active. I do a lot of sitting down at work. I will get of my bottom more often. I do not do regular excercise other than my two Pilates classes and then sometimes I can not do them. The next thing I shall do this morning is to put some air into my swiss ball and I will use it this evening.

For the next three days I am having the 4 grandchildren about so I will be more active than normal.

Exercise report on yesterday - I was more active than on an average Sunday but it was mostly housework and gardening. I only sat down to eat, have a game of Scrabble, do my blog and to watch Sherlock Holmes so all in all an active day.

In the garden.
I have too many courgettes and some of them have got up to marrow size so I took half a doz. and gave them away to neighbours - I enjoyed doing that.
I cooked courgette flowers for a lunch starter.
yesterday we ate from the garden beetroot, runner beans, onion, potatoes, courgette flowers, tomatoes and lettuce.
