Friday – again!
Another week has whizzed by I can hardly believe it.
I've spent all morning catching up on the programme, making notes in my diary and reading your blogs – it's nearly 11.30 now! However, I feel the time spent has been really worth it as I've made time to reflect and review my goals. I also came across something Pete had quoted ...
“First we form habits, then they form us. Conquer your bad habits or they will conquer you”. Rob Gilbert
How true that is of many of us. I am determined to 'conquer' two of my habits – eating slowly and not nibbling food whilst cooking. I will focus on these nasty little demons for the next few days and see how I get on. Often they have happened before I realise and suddenly I've eaten half my meal before realising I haven't chewed my food properly. So here I am giving myself a good talking too as I will not allow my bad habits to conquer me – so there!
I have been out almost every night this week and I'm looking forward to the weekend and chilling out a little. Alice In Wonderland was brill, dancing was great, Zumba fantastic as always, spa day wonderfully relaxing and the theatre last night very entertaining. Tonight is the last of our classical concerts for the season which is always a lively evening. Thank goodness I've had my turn and held one round my house - it will be a pleasure to be fed and watered in another members house.
Training on Wednesday was very demanding – a whole hour on the Power Plate throwing and catching a 5k medicine ball whilst stepping on and off at the same time. A gym member came up and asked me what I was training for!!! My PT said the London Olympics – don't think so!
If you are a YouTube fan and haven't already seen the singing in Antwerp (Belgium) train station do watch it. They sing Do Ray Me from the Sound of Music– I guarantee it will bring a big smile to your face. Its similar to the Tmobile dancing in Liverpool Street Station and just wonderful to see people singing and dancing.
Have a great weekend everyone.

It's great to read you blogs as they are so full of life and wonderful observations of things you have seen and done.
The quote from Mr Gilbert is a very powerful one and one a use time and time again.
Take care
Pete
PS I know what you are training for; "to feel as great as possible and to enjoy your life as much as you can"
I'm really enjoying blogging again it's a great communication tool.
Take care and have a fab weekend.
