Day 5. Walked this morning - albeit around the shops for over an hour. Tried to go up and down the stairs more. Not so good on the water intake but still OK. Vegeatable soup and fruit today for lunch - working on the "natural foods" bit, and "Shut the duck up" a few times. But I gave myself a pat on the back for being pretty positive. This weekend is going to be a test - to friends for dinner on Friday and staying over; dinner dance on Saturday night; and Sunday lunch at our local club with friends the following day. However I am actually looking forward to putting into practice many of the tools. So far I have lost 4.5lbs in 8 days, though I'm sure alot of it is excess water as I don't feel bloated any more.
