104 - DAY 6

Here's my blog as promised Pete:
How am I getting on so far:
Overall I am feeling very positive, although I had a downslide last week and annoyed with myself for letting stressful situations get the better of my temper. I won't go into all the boring detail again you'll be glad to hear.
I went away at the weekend and did lots of exercise with my youngest son who is into fitness and triathlons like you wouldn't believe, but you will understand Pete as you know him. The weekend gave me a lift and honed my thinking as being far away from the madding crowd gave me that bit of extra head space to get things into perspective. It was also good that my hubby and me were able to exercise together which was great, our days do seem to be split up recently he exercises in the early morning I can only manage the evening.
Today I feel far more in control than I did at the beginning of this course. I had a great time on the last year's live session but let things slide at christmas, now I have to get on with it and shift the weight I put back on at christmas. I'm using more of the tools, in fact I probably know them backward by now.

I think the way forward to is continue with the blogging and I haven't had as much time to devote to it as I would have liked, but now am going to build time into my day ME time ! I also like the support and ideas from the group. This year's session is also great and I'm delighted to be part of such a kind and supportive group of pals. You all really do help you know and I'll do my level best to get more involved. I get so involved supporting people in my job it's does get difficult to motivate myself once I get home. But this week at least I've got my sensible hat on, addicted to satsumas, but better than jaffa cakes and I'll take things a day at a time.
Thanks Pete keep on doing the do ! hugs Annie xx :-)) xx
ps Pete - just had a thought - could lower carbs help out with pain relief - since reducing my carbs alot I've not had to take so many painkillers - it could be the exercise, but exercise alone in the past hasn't reduced the painkillers ??? Can a high carb diet aggravate arthritis?
