Not Feeling So Good
Not feeling so good today - but it's my own fault. Ate far too much chocolate last night. I know why I did it - I am very stressed at the moment due to work so I need to learn how to deal with stress a better way than reaching for chocolate. The way I feel today I don't think I'll ever eat the stuff again. Somethimes I despair that I am never going to beat this chocolate/sugar addiction. Sorry for the negativity today. xo

If its any consolation I feel rubbish today. I went to the London Beer fest yesterday and had a big fried breakfast, curry with onion bahjee and samosa.. And a sausage roll.. What with all the ale I drank, I feel fat and bloated and am deinitely wearing it today.. But do you know what, I loved every minute of it at the time and keep laughing at myself today.
So, have a giggle at you and hang on to the yuk feeling and maybe next time we shoud take Petes advice and say.. UUUUURRGGG!! Lol.

Failing that, only keep good quality, high % cocoa choccy in the house, you are less likely to scoff that , trust me, I know, I managed to beat my choc addiction like that and now enjoy some when I fancy it.
Hope you feel better. Bizzilizzie
I got off it by changing what I ate -- swapped my favourite cadburys dairy milk for a suchard 70% cocoa solids and made myself suck it slowly --- I think that choccy has a lower g.i.score so I didn't have such a sugar rush which at least gave me the option to stop -- I could eat a family size caburys milk before. I did limit myself to about 4 squares which probably sounds impossible to you but it did work and, after all, a little of what you fancy, and all that. I have also observed that eating too much pasta or giant jacket spuds drives me towards sugary stuff so if you are keeping a food diary, might be worth seeing if you eat the choccy after particular meals.
You will beat it into submission, you know you can do it, just show it who's boss !!
Let me know how you get on. Bizzilizzie xx
You're up against big companies with massive budgets who spend a lot of money making sure that the taste and feel of the chocolate is addictive so you keep buying it. It's finding out what works for you to beat it, I'm still working it out.
You've got to believe and visualise that one day you'll be one of those people who eat a few squarres and put it back in the fridge!!
Don't give yourself a hard time as you work it out though. Jess x
