When in Melton Mowbray!!

Been off the radar for almost 2 weeks due to hols etc!
Anyway I am back now and trying hard on the programme - especially after piling on the pounds over the last 2 weeks.
I am always amazed at how quickly the weight can go on but how long it takes to come off! I was horrified when I got back and realised how tight some of my clothes were getting after previously being quite loose. I was even more horrified when I think of the amount of food and drink that passed my lips whilst away. We went to a lovely cottage in Nottingham and enjoyed the typical wet british weather so lots of what we did involved eating! It wasn't a holiday by a pool or beach with plenty of swimming and sunbathing to do!
We went to Melton Mowbray one day where I enjoyed a pork pie all to myself - it was a biggun too with a 'stilton cheese' top on it - what was I thinking!
Apart from all the eating I did and re-acquiring myself with red wine - I did do lots of walking and even some scheduled exercise running up the long driveway to the road from our cottage a couple of times - it was a half mile hill - now i can run a few miles but not usually up hill - I felt awful after!! I also did some weights and general exercise.
Have been back to my usual jogging this week and eating sensibly - I haven't resented it at all as I was quite desparate to get back to my usual routine.
Anyway - have much work to do - big 80s party on Sat with very small tight pink dress (now very very tight!), wedding eve do next Friday wearing dress that was slightly tight when I bought it! and finally the big wedding of the year in only 3 weeks - my sisters wedding where I am chief bridesmaid and a vision in pink satin!
Keep your fingers crossed for me to behave - I could really do with the moral support to keep me on the straight and narrow!!

Heres moral support blog number one.. Yay you can do this. I often think having a break does you the world of good. It makes you realise how much you love your new life style and how pleased you are to get back to it.
Think Pink and give yourself lot and lots of credit on achieving your goals..See the job as already done.
