Starting over again.
The past couple of days have slipped into a downward spiral both emotion and eating wise.
After resisting a choc cake and being inspired by the weightloss athlete on Mon I caved in last night (with some encouragment) and we shared it - to be honest it was the worst cake I've ever had, really tasted stale but I still ate it!!!! There was bedlam going on in my head with duck shouting and the healthy angel saying it tasted disgusting and what was I doing? Boy am I a rotten athlete, definately in the yo-yo category.
Just seem to have hit some sort of a brick wall. Can't be bothered to make anything healthy just eating junk. Pre-pctv this would have been the point at which I would have given up, but I know now what I need to do to get my auto-pilot to recorrect my course.
I have not listened to the R&T track for far too long - so will listen to it as soon as I've changed my days and sent this off
I have seen the nurse and am waiting for my gym induction, which has been an excuse not to do anything till then, this is my big downfall at the mo - not exercising - just seem so tired and it seems to be a major planning effort to fit it in - but I feel more like I can pysically do it now that I have lost a good deal of weight so will be out tonight with friend for a 30 min walk - and will report back that I have done it!
Have slipped out of the habit of eating only when hungry and just eating "because it's there" So will go back to the hunger score - it was making a big difference when I used it.
I think I am still eating slowly although I find the putting the knife and fork down hard to do - just spend the time playing with them and the food, that feels more natural, so will make a particular point of putting them down.
Sugar and fat have crept back on the scene as we now have lots of lovely fresh full cream goats milk and I've been making semolina, rice pud, custard etc. also been drinking milky coffee. The answer to some of this has come because I need to put my goat on antibiotics (poor thing she has an infection from the terrible kidding she had) for 14 days so will not be able to use the milk!
On the plus side still drinking the peppermint and rooibos tea, not much but at least something.
So Plan for the rest of today
Go now and drink a glass of water and clean my teeth to draw the line
Listen to the R&T track to gain some focus again
Am eating out tonight with client so will choose salad and have water to drink
Will eat slowly, putting down my knife and fork between bites
Will do a 30min walk with client this evening
Finish at 10pm so home and in bed before 11pm! Desperately need a good sleep!
Righto off to go! I know I should reply to the blogs but I so often do that and then run out of time to listen to the video or R&T track that I am going to be selfish and just get my head right tonight.

I know how you feel, not been doing that great myself. But hey we are both still here and we have not given up, and I think that is the most important thing to think about. I have the two voices in my head, one saying go on have it, the other going NOOOOOOOOOO! Still things are looking better today, I hope things get better for you very soon too. Thinking of you, ((hugs))
I hope you have a good day. Let me know how you go.
Jane :0)
xx
Jane and Faith are spot on - it's jsut a wobble, you're back in the zone. And I can also recommend Pete's old track "slimming with Pete" I've listened to it twice, and both times came out so positive!
Am just off to do a workout now!
DJ
If I lose the plot I choose just one thing to focus on - usually eating slowly and then I find gradually all the other tools slip into place and before I know it I'm back on track.
Go for the exercising - you will feel just so good after. I have been working with a trainer for 3 weeks now and I can feel the difference already. Waist smaller, bum tight, thighs feeling great. so don't delay go, go go!
Luv Elaine xxxx
I totally understand how you are feeling. There never seems to be time for exercise. Life is so hectic. And I often can't be bothered to make healthy food, and just drag something out of the freezer or a packet. It's so much easier....
But, we can move forward and recognise this for what it is - just a wobble... Much love xx
PS Like DJ, I totally recommend the 'Slimming with Pete' track too - it's amazing!
Meantime have a day off tomorrow so will DEFINATELY draw a real line tonight and start again in the morning - will make that Day 1 again. Tomorrow will be a day for me to get some things sorted out and a bit of order back into my life.
Tools tomorrow
Taking Elaine's advice - exercise will do a minimum 30min walk and will cycle, will also go for a swim (if my swimming costume will stretch round me! if not will buy a new one)
R&T to start the day
And Taking Deb-Jane and Kat's advice will do the SWP as well at the start of the day
then on to water
and STOP & THINK before eating anything
I can see that you have not blogged for a while and I wanted to find out how you are and invite you to join in our six week weight loss challenge starting on Monday the 15th of June.
The programme has gone from strength to strength and we now have more and more success stories and a great community of bloggers who are all positively supporting each other.
Lets make this Summer special, where we are all feel better about ourselves, have more energy and look great. I personally dare you to do this, whether you’ve never completed the whole programme or you’ve been through it lots of time. Even if you don’t want to follow the 21 days, you could still decide some tools to use and just go for it.
As I have already mentioned the challenge will start on the 15th and I am encouraging everyone to go through the 21 days twice. I would encourage you to blog as much as you can using your on-line journal, as you allow yourself to support and be supported by others.
So the question is, "Are you up for it?"
Let us know
Take care
I would like to ask you a big favour please in helping us gather information as to the effectiveness of petecohen.tv.
The programme has recently been piloted by a number of Primary Care Trusts and the results have been very positive. Robert Gordon University in Scotland now want to commission a publication on the programme and this is why we need your help.
Could you please take a few minutes to fill in the on-line questions regarding my programme and your experiences using it. Please be honest as your feedback is most appreciated.
