Day 10 C3 - Reflections & A Revelation :))

Morning you lovely people :))

Over the last two weeks I have felt a little bland, busy but personally I felt as though things were slowing down. The great news is I just wandered right through this phase, in the past I would have careered off track and caused myself a massive set back.

During the last two weeks I've been under a lot of stress good & not so good, I'm worried about my horse, she's made an initial improvement and then yesterday she trotted in from the field ok but after about 15 mins standing still whilst I groomed her, she could barely take a single step :( I went to check on her late last night & she was eating ok but still clearly in pain. I'm just off to see her now.

That was a bit of a sub story but has been a contributer to me feeling a bit sad. On a brighter note we have two new engineers who we have been training who are settling in really well (thank god) ... Oh poo I've just poured my tea down my chin OOPs :))

Anyway, the reason to note this down is to my utter suprise I have not gained weight as I feared, I have actually lost two more lbs.

Not getting weighed so often is brilliant for me and I refuse to get weighed unless I try on a piece of clothing I've been trying to get into first.... if that feels a bit looser, I know I'm ok to have a peek. It gave me such a boost :) I am definitely converted to the NOT getting weighed so often idea.

Some people might have expected to lose more than a stone in nearly two months but for me it's honestly the best, most healthy thing I have ever done. I suffer from horrible psoriasis and just before I started this program I was covered in it from head to toe after a massive flare up due to taking penicillin for a nasty chest infection, now... It's nearly gone!! I know this is down to my healthy eating I LOVE SPINACH ha ha ! :)) My back (SIJ & Slipped Disc) is also loads better :)

Sooooo my message to anyone who feels like they are stuck in the mud.......Just take a deep breath and take tiny baby steps forward, it's ok to pause from time to time, just make sure you keep moving in the right direction. For me it dosen't matter how long it takes just so long as I keep going. So next time I feel I'm slowing down I know I can reasure myself which will spur me on .............BRING IT ON :))))

HAVE A GREAT DAY, Love Gem xxxx

Jane's Gravatar Hi Gem,

I hope your horse gets better soon.

Your last paragraph struck me quite a bit, I have been struggling a little over the last week or so. You are so right about making sure your moving in the right direction. You inspired me today, thank you. I realise now that it wil take time and I will have bad days, but as long as I am going in the right direction I will get there.

Well done for sticking with the programme and losing another 2lb.
I really hope your horse gets better, it's so heartbreaking when our little fury friends are ill.
Take care
