Day 287 - Phew!!!
Well there I was yesterday doing comando style ducking and diving under my window in order to remain invisible to my sister next door. My hubs says he felt like scottie from Star Trek "she cannae hold much longer captain"!!! lol!
When she eventually left I found myself doing star jumps in the rock room - something that hubs found hysterical. I will speak to her at some time in the future when all of this has died down - if she raises these recent issues with me she will be left in no doubt that I don't wish to discuss it.
Heard from the Telford thing first thing this morning and sorted out all the red tape. Payment is on it's way - YAY!!!
My friend is feeling stronger now and I spoke to her on the phone last night - she seems to be picking up and coming through it all. Had a lovely evening with my gorgeous cuz last night so we managed to laugh at recent events and are both slowly healing from the damage our mothers have done.
Yesterday evening we went to an evening regarding the diplomas that are available in year 9 and I'm delighted and excited for my eldest as he has a firm idea of what he wants to do and has found a diploma that really excites him - SOOO jealous that we never had the opportunity to do stuff like this - he'll spend one day a week studying practical engineering which he's hugely looking forward to next year. Also found a creative and media diploma that I think will be perfect for my youngest - so RESULT!!!
Today I'm putting together Oliveresque street sketches for the Victorian Winter Festival tomorrow night. It's my older more experienced students so I'm really looking forward to formating this as it's a first for me too! Can't wait!
Food wise - we're going out for lunch as hubs says we deserve it. I have a facial booked for noon so it's a lovely day ahead. At 3.30pm we're rehearsing for the festival tomorrow so I'd better get my plans together for that.
We had a Burger King last night on the way back from the college and it was GORGEOUS - real wholesome meat and salad and the chips were lovely - not greasy at all. Tonight I have some lamb and mint kebabs that I'm going to serve in a wrap with leaves and mint yoghurt dressing - yum!
That's all for now folks.... :-)

Sounds like things are going good for you, and I am glad to hear it.
Take care

- you made me laugh with your ducking and diving - why not get some nice net curtains instead!!!
Go on you know you want some I bet you love lacey ones!
She'd better get some knickers - maybe the Telford money will be enough for her to clothe her butt!
I think she should camoflage net her house - the boys will love it and it will stop relatives looking in. If she keeps doing this she'll get a widows hump.
Wasn't there someone who talked about knickers over the summer - I can't remember who it was. Mandie if it wasn't you sorry for the false accusation!
My bro was the one who brought in the Star Trek analogy - he's a big fan and often relates to it as a metaphor for life struggles - rather sad I know - but I love him!
I love the idea of the camoflage net Kat and you're right the boys WOULD love it - don't think it'll go with the zebra print look, the drum kit and collection of guitars and keyboards though - I'm all for co-ordination you know? Even the bra and knickers have to match!
Right now I'm in a Dodger/Fagin/Nancy zone so all this talk was a delightful surprise!
Kat I intend to buy new knickers with the Telford money now - thanks for the ideas! :-))) xx
