Friend's murderer sentenced

Back in May I had terrible news that a friend had been murdered. He was sentenced to life in prison today.

It's shocking and upsetting to read all the details from the court because I knew the murderer too. I had even been at his 40th birthday party with Mary earlier this year. May he rot in hell.

I hope her girls are ok after seeing their mum murdered

Try to have some to yourself to relax this weekend, I expect you having sleepless nights waiting for the verdict

LilOleMe's Gravatar We were just becoming friends, but I'd known her a while. Certainly those in the friendship circle who were closer to her had restless nights. It was truly horrific. Mary had called my husband the evening before she was murdered, so that had brought us closer to the incident.

The girls are now living with their father. Mary's friends fund raised for them so they could afford the support they will need through the years to carry on.

It was just so unexpected. So so sad.

I take it you live near Bury - I grew up near Sudbury.

Have a lovely weekend - things like that affect you more than you think at the time.
