Week 2 and top exercise tip

Last week was good - as despite a meal at a chinese buffet I managed to lose 4lbs of which I am very pleased.
My top exercise tip is don't leave weights on the chair as they can roll off and land on your foot! Yesterday morning I decided to do my weights before work and in the process managed to drop a 6kg weight on my foot (resulting in me hobbling around work yesterday. I think I was lucky - it landed on the fleshy part at the top of my foot (and I think it must have just been the end of it that hit my foot) so I am going to have an impressive bruise but other than that emerged unscathed.
On BBC Breakfast yesterday they were talking about a study that showed that an hour laughing exercises your muscles as much as half an hour of weights (and much less dangerous) so my resolution for this week is to laugh a lot more - would you all like to join me?
Hope you are all having a good week :-)

Comments :
Donny's Gravatar Ouch - hope its not too sore today, well done for fitting in your exercise before work though.

I think that laughing more sounds like a great plan, have a good day keep going

Elaine's Gravatar I think the laughing sounds as good a workout as doing weights - and safer!!
Hope that foot gets better so you can keep training.
Luv Elaine xxxx

DJ's Gravatar Thanks for helping me with my laughter work out with your story about the weights! Stick to the wii ~9unless you've got any stories about how your hula hooping ended in Kev ebing knocked over or something!)
Talkign about the wii - I love the hula - and am lookign forward to trying the tightrope!
Have a great weekend Hels

wendy's Gravatar What are you like and why is it so funny when people hurt themselves? You've been Framed find no end of people sending in their painful moments to the amusement of the studio audience - don't suppose Kev was anywhere near with a camera?

Well done on getting those 4lb off. Keep at it. Another question - how can you manage to lift 6kg?
