Day 2, so far so good


hello one and all,

Another pretty good day for me, I am very pleased on the whole. Felt quite stressed at work today bur for some reason I didn’t want (or need?) to use food to tmask it. Guess that being ridiculously busy got in the way of me having the time to over-eat! Did pretty good on eating slowly and eating when hungry (which isn’t one of my tools but which I’ve been more aware of anyway) and drinking water. Have a long way to go though in terms of my ’self image’, especially my confidence at work, but one step at a time hey. have also been listening to the mp3 each night.

Food today was:

Brekkie, annies smoothie
coffee at work
Snack: 2 ginger nut biscuits (in a meeting) and banana
Lunch: ryvita, hummous, avacado, beetroot.
Pm snack: home made banana loaf, apple
Evening meal; veg stir fry with wholegrain rice and yogurt

Have been watching the daily video the evening before as its too much of a rush in the morning and by the evening its too late. 2 days in and its working ok. Heres to getting up to and beyond day 8.

Its lovely to see you blogging regularly again, you was very missed you know!

It sounds like you are really focused and positive , and I love your food diary, seems like we are both fans of Annies wonderful smoothies, I have been converted from juicing to smoothie making, and I have to say the smoothie is much more satisfying !!

Your home made banana loaf sounds yummie. I know its no good me saying to you what a beautiful and stunning young woman you are, in terms of you struggling with self image you have to work through it for yourself, but my word your photo does not do you justice, you look amazing.

So we are on the eve of day 3, have a great day tommorow, and work will always be there long after you are gone, its not worth stressing over, I realised that a few years ago, I can worry myself to the verge of a heart attack over work , and guess what, someone else will do your job if you cant, so although yes do your best and do your job to the best of your ability, but you are important too !!! Be kind to yourself !!!!!

lydsquid's Gravatar Your lunch and dinner sounded SO nice...Now I know this is REALLY sad but I bought some beetroot in asda tonight which is in a pack and its got blossom honey and ginger flavour/marinade stuff and its just YUMMY! I have some for my lunch tommorow and I am quite excited!! how sad am I getting excited about beetroot!?! Glad all is going well and keep it up!

Catgirl's Gravatar Have I told you how happy I am that you are back on the blogs????? And it is SO lovely to hear you sounding so positive.

Another twin moment...self image and confidence at work are things I also struggle with daily. They seem like things in themselves that have to be fixed or changed but I think by being kind to ourselves, eating healthily, exercising and not putting too much pressure on ourselves then our self image and confidence will improve (please remind me I said this at some point in the future).

One day at a time! Hope it is a good one.
